1. Introduction and Acceptance
Please review the terms and conditions for services at The Energy Room, Swansea's Energy Enhancement System wellness centre in Wales.
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by The Energy Room, located in Swansea, Wales. By booking or attending any session at our facility, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these conditions, you should not proceed with booking or using our services.
The Energy Room reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any modifications will take effect immediately upon publication on our website. Continued use of our services following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Services Provided
The Energy Room offers access to the Energy Enhancement System technology, a scalar energy and bio-photonic wellness technology designed to support the body's natural capacity for self-healing and energetic balance. Our services include daytime sessions, overnight sessions, and the sale of complementary wellness products.
All services are provided for general wellness purposes only. The Energy Enhancement System does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. The technology creates an energetic environment that may support the body's innate healing mechanisms, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made in advance through our website, telephone, or email. Confirmation of your booking will be provided via email and is subject to availability. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, debit card, or other methods as advertised on our website. All prices are quoted in British pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Prices may be subject to change, but any confirmed booking will be honoured at the rate agreed at the time of payment.
Session bundles and packages are non-transferable and must be used by the individual who purchased them unless express written permission is obtained from The Energy Room management. Package sessions are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase, after which any unused sessions will expire without refund.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that circumstances may require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To cancel or reschedule a session, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled session time. Cancellations made with appropriate notice will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule without penalty.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of 50% of the session fee. Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the full session fee. This policy ensures fair access to our facilities for all clients and compensates for the reserved time that cannot be reassigned.
In exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or bereavement, we may exercise discretion in applying this policy. Such requests must be made in writing and supported by appropriate documentation where applicable.
5. Client Responsibilities and Conduct
Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled sessions. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid disruption to subsequent bookings, with no reduction in the session fee. If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible.
Whilst on our premises, clients must conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a session immediately without refund if a client behaves in a manner that is disruptive, abusive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate towards staff, other clients, or the facility.
The consumption of alcohol or recreational drugs prior to or during sessions is strictly prohibited. Clients who appear to be under the influence may be refused entry without refund. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the facility or its immediate grounds.
6. Health and Safety
Clients are responsible for disclosing any relevant health conditions, medications, or concerns prior to their first session. Whilst the Energy Enhancement System is non-invasive and generally well tolerated, individuals with certain medical conditions, pacemakers, or other electronic implants should consult their healthcare provider before using our services.
The Energy Room does not provide medical advice. If you are currently under medical care or taking prescribed medication, you should not discontinue or alter your treatment without consulting your qualified healthcare professional. Our services are intended to complement, not replace, conventional medical care.
Pregnant women, individuals with epilepsy, severe mental health conditions, or other serious medical concerns should seek medical advice before booking a session. We reserve the right to request medical clearance before permitting access to our services in circumstances where we believe there may be a health risk.
Clients experiencing a medical emergency whilst on our premises should alert staff immediately. Whilst we will provide reasonable assistance and contact emergency services if required, we are not medical professionals and cannot provide emergency medical treatment.
7. Personal Property and Liability
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. The Energy Room does not accept liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the premises. We recommend that valuable items are not brought to sessions or are kept secure on your person.
Whilst we maintain comprehensive insurance for our premises and operations, The Energy Room, its directors, employees, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from the use of our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
By using our services, you acknowledge that participation in wellness activities carries inherent risks and that you assume responsibility for any consequences arising from your voluntary participation. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Energy Room from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or breach of these terms.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
The Energy Room is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal information collected during the booking process or service delivery will be used solely for the purposes of providing our services, maintaining client records, and communicating with you regarding your bookings.
We will not share your personal information with third parties except where necessary to process payments, comply with legal obligations, or where you have provided explicit consent. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us in writing.
Client health information disclosed to us will be treated as confidential and stored securely. Such information may be retained for record-keeping purposes and to ensure the safe delivery of our services. We will not disclose health information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
9. Photography, Testimonials, and Marketing
From time to time, we may photograph or video record our facilities for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included in such materials, please inform our staff. We will not use identifiable images of clients without obtaining prior written consent.
Client testimonials and reviews are valuable to our business. If you choose to provide a testimonial, you grant The Energy Room permission to use your comments, first name, and general location in our marketing materials unless you specify otherwise. Full names and personal details will not be published without express permission.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on The Energy Room website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the intellectual property of The Energy Room or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any materials on our website without prior written permission.
The Energy Enhancement System is a proprietary technology developed by Dr Sandra Rose Michael. References to the EE System, its functionality, and associated materials are used under appropriate licensing arrangements and remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
11. Product Sales
Wellness products sold by The Energy Room, including detox bath packs, Schumann resonance generators, and energy regenerators, are sold as described and are subject to availability. All product sales are final unless the product is faulty or not as described.
Products must be inspected upon receipt, and any defects or discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of purchase. We will replace faulty products or offer a refund at our discretion. We cannot accept returns of products that have been opened, used, or are no longer in their original condition except where consumer protection law requires.
The Energy Room makes no medical claims regarding wellness products. Any benefits described are based on traditional use, manufacturer information, or anecdotal reports and should not be construed as medical advice or guaranteed outcomes.
12. Force Majeure
The Energy Room shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These circumstances include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, government restrictions, power failures, or interruption of utility services.
In the event that we are unable to provide your scheduled session due to force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your appointment or provide a full refund at your discretion.
13. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We strive to provide excellent service at all times. If you have any concerns or complaints regarding our services, please contact us in writing providing full details of the issue. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 working days.
We will make every reasonable effort to resolve complaints amicably and to your satisfaction. If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or the provision of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
